Dancing in a winter fairytale setting
I'm twirling, I'm swiveling, I'm pirouetting.
Then, after taking the last spin
Speed on the ice faster than wind.
The frost’s biting my nose and my cheeks
Yet, I'm already at the future Olympics:
My family cheering on me in the large crowd
Everything’s lively, lucky and loud.
I smile and start with a Beacom Blossom,
I dance, I jump, it feels truly awesome.
At last, I go into a forward Charlotte spiral
By the time I'm done, the performance goes viral…
Suddenly, I wake up like from a dream
Realising I'm at the edge of a stream
Terrified I back up before the ice breaks
Heart’s racing, I look up and I'm calmed by the floating snowflakes.
