Mesmerised and in awe
The other night I saw
Spectacle like on no other of nights
- the ocean’s northern lights
Everything was pitch dark
When suddenly I noticed a spark
Flickering along the wave…
I started wondering if I was safe.
The ocean exploded with light
Blue wave after wave pulsated bright.
I dipped my foot and I watched it glow
The light was playing with my toe.
