Raw materials are precious and few.
It's wiser and kinder to use anew
The materials already around
To make our planet healthy and sound
Mountains of plastic could be reused
So they don't end up in oceans making fish confused.
Forests and beautiful species could still be saved
If only we gave a thought to where and how our food was made.
We would be richer and landfills would reduce
If we wore a T-shirt more than twice to be amused.
We must take action and stop corporations
To create a brighter tomorrow for us and future generations.
The air is polluted so temperatures are high,
The water's scarce, so the soil goes arid and dry.
The easiest solution to battle those three
Is for each of us to plant and guard a tree.
