Strawberries proudly displayed their bellies round,
While blueberries haven't their colour still found.
Plum trees have barely their blossoms shed,
When cherries already blushed crimson red.
Apples and grapes didn't rush in turn,
To be picked from the orchard auburn.
Pomegranates delayed their ripening in suit,
To be only succeeded by a sharon fruit.
