In the tiny world of bugs and the creatures strangely hairy,
Raindrops seem enormous and often a little bit scary,
So hiding behind a leaf is somewhat less dreary.
There, you will discover busy ants who carry
All sorts of treasures and an occasional berry.
Try being attentive and quiet, and you may spot a real fairy,
Who will sprinkle her fairy dust making the world merry.
Hidden in the grass where colourful mushrooms are found,
Grasshoppers and cicadas create their favourite sound.
There, too, termites build their intricate mounds
And shiny beetles march constantly on the ground.
Above, dragonflies fly bravely despite many birds lurking around,
Graceful butterflies glide in circles perfectly round
And a queen bee is yet again being crowned.
